This Xaela would look familiar to a member of the Ura, but cannot recall growing up with her among the tribe.Something dark clings to this Xaela, a thirst compells her to feast.Anyone who comes close enough would feel an odd heat from her. She seems strongly attuned to fire aether.

Orphaned an abandoned, the young Xaela learned the difficulties of life early on when her parents died in a landslide in the Tail Mountains and the Ura clan deemed her 'weak blood' and cast her out. Forced to move on or perish, Altanai climbed and hiked her way back to Reunion, a place familiar to her when she would accompany the tribe on trade runs.Now an adult and battle hardened, Altanai faced Bardam's Mettle and was recognized as a warrior of the Steppe, taming her Yol and earning a way to travel. She began to feel a pull to leave the Steppe, yearning for something missing in her life and intent on finding it.Her travels led her to the Ruby Sea, where she saved the Ruby Princess and people of Sui-no-Sato. The first outsider to earn a place in the Ruby Guard, Altanai was tasked to keep a group of scholars safe on an expedition to Eorzea.The expedition was ultimately a failure, leaving Altanai left behind once more in a strange new land and an offer to join up with a new trading company. The company had turned out to be just as corrupt as its leader, and Altanai fled with what little belongings she could take with her.Now, Altanai finds herself in strange company with even stranger stories and a pull to delve into the unknown, already enthralled by her new dangerous and delightful companions. She will change and find answers, but will it be for the better?

Been doing RP in-game for a little over a year, but have been doing general roleplay and D&D for much longer.
